In the Toltec tradition, the word for shaman is simply artist—an artist of the spirit who creates their life as a canvas. Visionary art is far more than visual representation; it is a two-way communication with Spirit. Through colour, geometry, and sacred form, art allows us to reflect multi-dimensional spiritual realities and transmit pure intention into manifest existence without the limitations of the spoken word.

Inspired by years of deep study under the late Peruvian visionary master Pablo Amaringo, as well as visionary states with the Huni Kuin and Yawanawá peoples of the Amazon, the works in this gallery are direct records of the miração (the visionary field). Each canvas serves as a “living library” of plant consciousness, ancestral songlines, and cosmic architecture.

This collection builds upon the trajectory of my 2015 exhibition in Rio de Janeiro, Gulwan — Spirit of the Night Sky (Visões das Plantas Sagradas das Florestas Australianas e Brasileiras). The title Gulwan was received from spiritual guides through a vision, in Australia, creating a direct bridge between the sacred plant spirits of the Australian bush and the visionary landscapes of the Amazonian forest.

Here, the mind becomes the brush, spirit becomes the guide, and the canvas becomes a portal inviting you to remember your own connection to the Dreaming of the Whole Earth.
