Dreaming of the Sun

Even the setting Sun leaves the sky full of colour. For generations the ancient ancestors of the Earth have worshipped the sun.

Lore even adopted the name Solaris after discovering that his sign in the Mayan dreamspell calendar is Ahau, which is the Sun.

The Sun is the life-giver, the way-shower. The Sun sits at the centre of our planetary orbit and governs the rhythms of every day that we live.

The light of the Sun refracts into infinite colours and forms into the life and beauty of planet Earth, the glowing jewel daughter of the Sun-star.

In 2007, after three months in Brazil and Peru in which Lore deepened his journey with Ayahuasca and the Indigenous peoples of the Amazon, he received many visions and blessings from the heart of the Earth. Returning to Australia he chose to paint those experiences, which led to the creation of this collection of art.
